Weight Training and Cardio Workout to Achieve an Athletic Body

Plyometric workout

Weight training
Weight lifting is the common form of a strength training exercise in which you can develop strength of your muscles and also enhance the size of your skeletal muscles too.
If you want to build up the leaner muscles to achieve an athletic body, you need to lift a lighter weight followed by more repetitions. In this way, you can burn more calories and can build up leaner muscles.
If you want to make your workout more challenging, you can also add some resistance or the other way to make your workout more exerting is to make your resting period shorter.
Nutrition
Because athletes undergo so much stress and pressure, they need to have a healthy diet, and also they must avoid various foods which are not good for their health.
Try to avoid food containing artificial flavors, along with food having a high concentration of sugar.
Try to consume food that is rich in proteins and carbohydrates. Along with that, keep yourself hydrated, because if you are not having an adequate amount of water, then your body will ultimately transport the toxins in your glut. When water is deficient in your body, surely you will feel clumsy and sluggish.
Remember, diet also plays a vital role in developing muscles, controlling your weight, and boosting your overall health!
